Dokploy or Coolify

The same compose app as a VM with Docker Compose, run by a platform you install on your server. Dokploy or Coolify sets up the domain, and its Traefik proxy ends TLS. The whole security model holds.

The step-by-step guide comes with 0.1, tested by deploying from it once. The changelog says what is built.

How it will differ from a plain VM

• The platform’s Traefik replaces Caddy in front of the api.
• Secrets come through sops or the platform’s environment variables (the env provider).
• You deploy from the platform’s screen or its git hook instead of docker compose up -d.

Everything else is the same: one server, the same containers, and the same size of server for your data.
